FUNDING APPEAL

Help Schools Keep Apprenticeship Guidance Alive

The end of the Department for Education’s ASK programme leaves schools and parents without the specialist apprenticeship guidance they’ve relied on for years.

Your support will equip them with the tools, training, and confidence to guide each year group — now and for years to come.

Schools and Parents Want to Give Great Career Guidance — But Apprenticeships Are Complex

When ASK funding ended, schools lost a vital source of expertise:

1. Apprenticeships are constantly changing.

2. Teachers and parents have limited time to stay up to date.

3. Careers leads often cover multiple year groups alone.

Without help, young people risk missing out on pathways that could change their lives.

Study Group

"It is a vital service in the current climate where students are encouraged to look into alternatives to Higher Education/University for professional pathways."

– Montpelier School

We’ve Helped 87,000 Students Understand Apprenticeships — And We’re Ready to Help Schools Stand on Their Own

For 6 years, funded by the Department for Education, we’ve delivered the ASK programme to over 65 schools a year — bringing expert assemblies, workshops, and employer engagement to thousands of students.

Schools tell us they now face a gap they can’t fill alone.

"To have specialists providing this support and guidance to students is incomparably better than us trying to deliver the same messages."

– Oasis Academy John Williams

"The vast majority of our students would like an Apprenticeship and they need help finding and applying to these."

– Merchants Academy

One Year to Build Lasting Confidence in Apprenticeship Guidance

With your funding, we’ll work with 50+ schools to:

Deliver 4 inspiring assemblies & workshops per school.

Run
teacher CPD sessions to build in-house expertise.

Offer
parent information sessions to involve families.

Bring in
employers and apprentices as real role models.

Provide a
regular newsletter with vacancies, stories, and tips.

By the end of the year, we aim to ensure schools will be equipped to confidently guide multiple year groups — without relying on external programmes.
