Register of Apprenticeship Training Provider - Outcomes

The SFA has published the results for applications to the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP). The announcement will come as a relief to successful applicants as they now have the green light to be funded for apprentice starts from May. Congratulations to the WTPN membership that got through, your hard work has paid off. The full list of providers can be downloaded here. 73% of the providers that applied were successful but providers that submitted an ITT to deliver apprenticeships to non-levy paying employers still have to wait to learn if they’ve been successful.

Skills Funding letter for 2017/8

The skills funding letter is published annually and sets out the government’s funding priorities for the skills system. It includes information for the SFA to set provider allocations for 2017 to 2018, and shows indicative budgets up to 2020. Click here for the letter.

Free On line Apprenticeship Diversity course

Here's a really crucial free online course from the Education and Training Foundation to help apprenticeship staff engage and support a diverse range of apprentices (and their employers) right the way through the new apprenticeship journey. The two-hour course is live and helps front-line staff delivering (or preparing to deliver) apprenticeship standards to identify potential barriers, find solutions, and improve their practice and that of their organisations. Click here for more information and to access the course.
