Employer Support Manager
A fantastic opportunity to make an impact on an important regional project. Increasing awareness of Apprenticeships, supporting employers (particularly SME’s) to navigate the system, supporting employers with the recruitment and upskilling of new and existing staff, ultimately improving apprenticeship opportunities for West of England employers and residents.
This role is funded by the West of England Combined Authority and Dept for Communities and levelling up.
About You
We are looking for someone to join our team who is passionate about making a real difference by helping to create much needed apprenticeship opportunities for residents across the West of England.
Following funding from the West of England Combined Authority and European Social Fund, as a team we have established a number of free employer apprenticeship support services which inspire, educate and support businesses and individuals in the West of England to maximise their potential through Apprenticeships. This programme is now being extended.
The overarching impartial free Apprenticeship services that we run are a key regional offering that minimises complexity for interested employers and secures further funding into our regional system. Your role would be central to boosting Apprenticeship opportunities and improving the system for all.
This position will play a key role in helping us build on the interest we have already had in the scheme from employers, deliver our exciting service offer, meet, and overachieve on our new extended contract.
We are seeking a self-motivated, organised programme manager who is excited by the prospect of managing, delivering and coordinating one key aspect of our Apprenticeship services.
You will also work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure that we can have maximum impact in the region.
