Meet the apprentice

This year, in partnership with the Local Skills Improvement Fund (LSIF) and West of England Institute of Technology we have been working hard to continue raising apprenticeship awareness across the region with our parents & carers to enable a greater understand of the apprenticeship landscape and the value they hold.

We hosted in person events across the region where we were joined by employers and apprentices from a variety of sectors all sharing their experience of employing or being an apprentice.

As well as our in person apprenticeship evenings and online webinars we have been meeting with apprentices at their workplace asking them to share their journey to inspire others!

We visited 5 apprentices across 4 different sites, covering a range of levels and sectors.

It’s so important the apprentices voice is heard and shared, this is what has the real impact.
